I was born in Moscow, Russia. I began drawing at the age of 3 and had painted my first oil painting by the age of 6. After moving to the United States, I attended UC Berkeley, from which I graduated with honors.
I have 20 years of Graphic Design experience, do commissions for portraits and book illustrations, and also teach private and group art lessons. I have two daughters who are very enthusiastic about art, and I hope that their creativity continues to grow.

 

I admire and inspired by the works of great masters, such as Caravaggio, Vrubel, Turner, Friedrich, Renoir, and Rembrandt. To this day, their light-shadow techniques and technical artistry provide a level of perfection. I am continually inspired by the beauty of nature and life, by my loving family, students, and friends.
